About Us

Native Snack House was born from a deep love and passion for the South Indian sweets and snacks that have been part of our family for generations.

Our company is now based in Coimbatore, while our roots trace back to Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), where our parent company, Star Chips & Snacks, has been crafting traditional sweets and snacks for over 37 years.

The founder of Star Chips & Snacks, Mr. Issac Dharmaraj, hails from Virudhunagar district. He began his career in the traditional sweets and snacks industry at the age of just 13, learning the craft through hands-on experience in sweet-making companies across South Tamil Nadu. Today, with more than 40 years of experience, he has mastered the art of creating authentic traditional sweets and snacks, carrying forward the flavours and techniques of South Tamil Nadu.

The experience he gained at an early age formed the groundwork for a lifelong commitment to preserving the flavors and recipes of traditional cooking methods. And today, his legacy lives on through his Family Members, M. P. Arasi And Wilson, who is realizing his dream via Native Snack House by bringing the tastes of authentic South Indian sweets and snacks to Indians everywhere.
